Best Buy’s early Black Friday doorbusters are live right now, and the clock is not subtle about it. Several of the sharpest gaming and PC picks run through Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT, in limited quantities, with no rainchecks. If you have been waiting for a real RTX 50-series prebuilt under a thousand dollars, this is the first serious shot of the season — and it will not sit on the shelf until Thanksgiving.
I pulled the live Best Buy listings this morning (Saturday, November 7) and cross-checked them against HotHardware, 9to5Toys, and Dealnews. Prices below are the ones showing on Best Buy as of this morning ET. Early Black Friday is messy by design: stacks change, doorbusters vanish, and waiting for the official November 27 Black Friday can still pay off on some categories. For these four, the discounts are already large enough to talk about.
The $899.99 RTX 5060 Slate is the headline doorbuster
The clear magnet is the iBUYPOWER Slate (SBA5N5601 / Best Buy SKU 6686141). Best Buy has it at $899.99, marked down from a $1,400 list — roughly $500 off, or about 35%. Inside you get a Ryzen 5 8400F (6 cores / 12 threads, Zen 4), an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7, 16GB of DDR5-4800, a 1TB NVMe SSD, a 600W 80+ Gold PSU, Windows 11 Home, and a keyboard and mouse in the box.

That GPU is the reason this configuration matters. An RTX 5060 in a complete tower under $900 is the kind of early-season doorbuster that usually empties out before weekend shoppers even open the app. For 1080p and many 1440p titles with DLSS in the mix, the 5060 is a sensible 2026 entry card, and buying it already installed, cooled, and warrantied is simpler than hunting a bare GPU plus a case build during sale week.
There are real tradeoffs, and Best Buy’s own Q&A is honest about one of them: the 16GB of DDR5 arrives as a single 1x16GB stick. That means single-channel memory until you add a matching module, which costs a little performance on CPU-bound games and creative apps. The 8400F is also last-gen Zen 4 rather than the newest desktop silicon — fine for gaming when the GPU is doing the heavy lifting, less exciting if you planned to stream, encode, and multitask hard on the CPU alone. The 1TB SSD will fill up faster than you think once a few modern AAA installs land. None of that kills the deal at $899.99. It just means you should budget a second RAM stick and maybe a second drive if this is your daily machine for the next three years.
Stock is the other risk. Best Buy flags these doorbusters as limited quantity with no rainchecks. HotHardware and 9to5Toys both put the Slate at the center of Saturday’s coverage for a reason: when an RTX 5060 tower crosses under a thousand dollars this early, it tends to disappear. If the configuration matches what you need, treat Sunday night as a hard deadline, not a soft suggestion.
Step-up Element, Lenovo laptop, and a $149.99 Odyssey
If $900 is too tight a GPU budget and you want the next rung on the RTX 50 ladder, Best Buy also has the iBUYPOWER Element with an RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 at $1,799.99, down from $2,200 — a clean $400 cut. Specs lining up with HotHardware’s write-up include a Ryzen 7 9700F, 32GB of DDR5-5200, and a 1TB NVMe SSD in a white chassis. That is a much more comfortable 1440p / high-refresh box, with double the system RAM out of the gate and a 12GB card that has more headroom for newer titles and creator workloads. You are spending roughly twice the Slate’s street price, so only chase this if you actually need the 5070’s uplift — otherwise the $899 doorbuster is the smarter early-BF play.

Not every early Black Friday win has to be a tower. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i is sitting at $629.99 against a list near $1,300 — roughly 51% off. You get an Intel Core 7 350, a 15.3-inch 2K touchscreen, 16GB of memory, and 512GB of storage in Cosmic Blue. That is a strong everyday / school / light creative laptop price for a 2K touch panel, especially if someone on your list needs a thin Windows machine rather than a gaming desktop. The 512GB drive is the obvious limit; a cheap external SSD or cloud plan fixes that without wrecking the deal math.

For a monitor that matches either prebuilt without another huge spend, the Samsung 27-inch Odyssey G5 (G55H) is $149.99 at Best Buy: QHD (1440p), 180Hz, 1ms, 1000R curve, HDR10. Pairing a new RTX 5060 or 5070 with a 27-inch 1440p 180Hz panel for under $150 is one of the cleaner accessory add-ons in this early-BF wave. One clarification for shoppers comparing tabs from yesterday: do not assume the flat Odyssey G50F is still hanging around at the old $169.99 Doorbuster-style price from November 6 coverage — live listings this morning have that flat model much higher again. The curved G55H at $149.99 is the verified Samsung 27-inch pick here.

Best Buy’s broader early Black Friday hub is where these doorbusters are clustered. Outside Best Buy, the early-season calendar is still filling in — TechRepublic’s early Black Friday roundup notes Walmart’s bigger push around November 12 and the traditional Black Friday date of November 27 — so there will be more waves. That is useful context if you are flexible on a TV or a different laptop. It is less useful if the exact Slate configuration you want is already in a cart somewhere with a Sunday cutoff.
Cody’s take
Buy the Slate if you want a complete RTX 5060 gaming PC now and you can live with (or immediately upgrade) single-stick DDR5 and a 1TB drive. At $899.99 with a real 50-series card, keyboard, mouse, and a Gold PSU in the bundle, the doorbuster math works — especially compared with piecemeal part prices that still refuse to cooperate. Step up to the Element only if 1440p ultra / heavier multitasking is the actual plan and the extra $900 is money you already intended to spend on a 5070-class machine.
The IdeaPad at $629.99 is the gift / school / travel counterweight to all the gaming noise, and the Odyssey G5 at $149.99 is the cheap way to make either desktop look like a real setup instead of a tower on a dusty 1080p panel. Watch inventory through Sunday night CT, double-check the live Best Buy price before you hit purchase, and do not wait on a raincheck that Best Buy has already said will not exist. Early Black Friday is loud on purpose. This week, a few of the shouts are actually worth hearing.
