Some Bad Guys are just unlucky
It seems that AHOY Comics is trying new things and bringing new ideas to stories lately. We just received their latest press release about a new six-issue series coming in April of 2024. It’s called DEADWEIGHTS and it focuses on two unlucky henchmen trying to make it in the world.
Writer Tyrone Finch said, “At its core, Deadweights is about friendship.”
We often see the bad guys lose in major comic plot lines but this takes it to a whole other level. We see the other side of them. The struggling story of these two guys getting relentlessly beaten down and battered. Even forced to live in hideouts with no electricity or plumbing. Yet they don’t give up on their dreams.
Even bad guys have some humanity, right? Well, we will have to wait until April to read this epic series.
DEADWEIGHTS #1 releases in stores on April 10, 2024.
