Key Takeaways

– Welcome To Rockville 2026 returns to Daytona International Speedway on May 7-10.
– The 15th anniversary lineup features more than 160 bands across five stages.
– Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, and My Chemical Romance headline the festival.
– Fans can jump into the hype now with the official Spotify playlist and grab passes from the main festival site.

Welcome To Rockville 2026 is shaping up to be one of the nastiest festival weekends next year, and Daytona is going to feel every second of it. The 15th anniversary edition is not playing small. It is loading more than 160 bands onto five stages and daring rock fans to survive the set-time chaos.

The headline row is epic. Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, and My Chemical Romance are leading the charge across four straight days at Daytona International Speedway. That is the kind of top line that instantly turns a festival into a full-blown event.

And the wild part is that the lineup barely cools off after that. The Offspring, Turnstile, Parkway Drive, Breaking Benjamin, Motionless In White, A Day To Remember, Rise Against, Yellowcard, Poppy, The Warning, Sleeping With Sirens, and a pile of other heavy hitters are all packed into the same weekend.

That is why this one feels nostalgic with a punch in the best way. Welcome To Rockville 2026 is not just banking on nostalgia or one giant reunion-level moment. It is going all-in on range, volume, and pure fan overload.

Why the Welcome To Rockville 2026 lineup feels massive

Every day has its own identity, and that is what keeps this from feeling like a random stack of names on a poster. Thursday leans hard into giant hard rock and heavy chaos. Friday feels built for crossover energy, singalongs, and pit starters. Saturday swings into modern heavy favorites and scene staples. Sunday closes like an emotional wrecking ball.

That mix is where Rockville really flexes. You have legacy bands, modern festival monsters, pop-punk staples, metal bruisers, and emo crowd-killers all crammed into one weekend. So no matter where you land on the rock spectrum, there is going to be a stretch of this lineup that feels made for you.

And yeah, fans may have to make a choice on what days to attend. That is part of the fun. A stacked festival should force hard choices. If fans are already debating who they are willing to miss before the daily times even drop, that usually means the lineup did its job.

This is also the kind of bill that rewards people who show up early and stay curious. The headliners are obvious draws, but the lower lines are full of artists who can absolutely steal a weekend if the crowd gives them the room.

Daytona is about to get loud

Daytona International Speedway is the right home for something this oversized. A festival this huge needs room to breathe, and Rockville works best when it feels enormous. You want distance between stages, long sightlines, and enough space for the whole thing to feel like a takeover.

That is exactly what makes this event hit different. It is not just another stop on the calendar. It feels like a full-scale invasion of Daytona by every flavor of loud music fandom at once.

If you want to start the festival early, the official Welcome To Rockville Spotify playlist is already live:

That playlist is the perfect pregame. It lets you revisit the giants, catch up on undercard favorites, and start scouting the bands that could end up owning your whole weekend.

Passes are on sale now, and fans can find tickets, festival info, and planning details on the main site:

The bottom line is simple. Welcome To Rockville 2026 looks built for noise, sweat, nostalgia, discovery, and some absolutely brutal conflicts once the daily schedules land. If you love rock, metal, punk, or any messy mix of all three, Daytona is going to be the center of the universe next May.

Photo credit: Welcome To Rockville / Danny Wimmer Presents

Key Takeaways

– Welcome To Rockville 2026 runs May 7-10 at Daytona International Speedway.
– The festival’s 15th anniversary lineup includes more than 160 bands across five stages.
– Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, and My Chemical Romance headline the four-day event.
– Tickets, parking, VIP packages, and festival add-ons are already on sale.

Welcome To Rockville 2026 just dropped a lineup that feels built to flatten Daytona. The 15th anniversary edition of the festival is bringing over 160 bands to Daytona International Speedway, and the headliners alone make this thing look absurdly stacked.

This year’s event runs from May 7 through May 10 in Daytona Beach. And yeah, the top line is ridiculous. Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, and My Chemical Romance are set to headline across the four-day run.

That already sounds massive. Then the undercard starts throwing punches. Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Staind, TURNSTILE, The Offspring, Parkway Drive, Breaking Benjamin, A Day To Remember, Yellowcard, Alice Cooper, Lamb of God, and Motionless In White are all in the mix.

Honestly, that is why Rockville keeps hitting. It is not just one or two giant names and then filler. It is trying to build a weekend where schedule conflicts actually hurt.

Why Welcome To Rockville 2026 looks huge

The official festival site says more than 160 bands will play across five stages, which gives the event real scale instead of just poster hype. Daytona International Speedway is already one of the biggest settings for this kind of weekend, so the lineup and venue together make a lot of sense.

Public reporting around the lineup also points to pricing and planning details fans actually care about. FOX 35 Orlando reported that single-day general admission passes start at $153, while four-day passes start at $425. Parking is on sale too, with single-day and four-day options already listed.

That matters because Rockville has grown way beyond a niche Florida stop. According to FOX 35’s recap, the festival drew more than 230,000 fans in 2025. That kind of attendance turns the whole thing into a destination play, not just a local concert binge.

And then there is the anniversary angle. Fifteen years is a real milestone, and the organizers clearly know it. This lineup does not read like a safe commemorative poster. It reads like they wanted a statement year.

Daytona is becoming the place for this

One of the smartest things about Rockville is the Daytona fit. The Speedway gives the festival room to go big, and now the event feels glued to the city in a way that keeps growing every year.

Fans are also getting the kind of mix that makes festival weekends fun to argue about. Legacy acts, modern heavy bands, punk veterans, metal favorites, emo-core staples, and mainstream crossover names are all living on the same bill. That gives Rockville a wider pull than a lot of festivals in the same lane.

For fans trying to plan, the official Welcome To Rockville site and Daytona International Speedway’s public materials both point to the same core message: buy early, sort out parking now, and get your game plan together before the set-time bloodbath starts.

The bottom line is simple. Welcome To Rockville 2026 has the kind of lineup that can carry a whole summer’s worth of online debate before the gates even open. If you are into rock, metal, punk, or any corner in between, this one looks like a monster.

TL;DR: Welcome To Rockville 2026 is going big for its 15th anniversary with Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, My Chemical Romance, and more than 160 bands set for Daytona International Speedway on May 7-10.

Key Takeaways

– Welcome To Rockville 2026 returns to Daytona International Speedway on May 7-10, 2026.
– The 15th anniversary lineup features more than 160 bands across five stages.
– Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, and My Chemical Romance headline the four-day festival.
– Tickets, VIP options, hotel packages, parking, and limited camping add-ons are on sale now.

Welcome To Rockville 2026 just dropped one of the loudest festival announcements of the year. The Florida event is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and it is stacking the deck with a lineup that feels built to wreck necks for four straight days.

This year’s festival runs from May 7 through May 10 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach. Danny Wimmer Presents says more than 160 bands will hit five stages, which means fans are getting a ridiculous amount of rock, metal, punk, and alt chaos in one weekend.

The headliners alone are enough to turn heads. Guns N’ Roses leads Thursday. Foo Fighters owns Friday. Bring Me The Horizon takes Saturday. Then My Chemical Romance closes out Sunday. That is a monster four-night run.

And honestly, the support acts make this thing feel even bigger. Five Finger Death Punch, TURNSTILE, The Offspring, Breaking Benjamin, A Day To Remember, Godsmack, Staind, Parkway Drive, Lamb of God, Yellowcard, Alice Cooper, Ice Nine Kills, Lorna Shore, Tom Morello, Flyleaf with Lacey Sturm, and Underoath are all on the bill.

Why the Welcome To Rockville 2026 lineup hits hard

What makes this Welcome To Rockville 2026 lineup stand out is the mix. You have legacy arena killers, modern heavy hitters, reunion sets, anniversary performances, and home-state moments all packed into one event. It does not read like a safe booking. It reads like a flex.

There are also a bunch of specific hooks that fans will lock onto fast. Bring Me The Horizon is booked for its only Florida show of 2026. Parkway Drive is slated for its only U.S. performance of the year. Staind is celebrating 25 years of Break the Cycle, while Five Finger Death Punch is launching its 20th anniversary world tour.

Then you get the nostalgia grenade drops. Yellowcard has a home-state show. Sleeping With Sirens is marking 15 years of Let’s Cheers To This. From First To Last is reuniting. Egypt Central and Primer 55 are back. If you grew up in warped playlists and festival pits, this lineup absolutely knows what it is doing.

Welcome To Rockville is also leaning into the full festival experience again. A Wednesday pre-party is set for May 6 with Fuel, Local H, Adelitas Way, and Ashes Remain. That gives campers and early arrivals a solid excuse to start the weekend before the main gates really explode.

Daytona gets another huge festival swing

The business side matters too, because Rockville is not just a cool poster. The festival drew more than 230,000 fans in 2025, according to the release, and organizers say it now generates more than $80 million in economic impact for the region each year.

That scale helps explain why the event has become such a massive fixture in Daytona Beach. Earlier this year, Danny Wimmer Presents and Daytona International Speedway announced a 10-year agreement that keeps Welcome To Rockville in Daytona through 2035. So no, this is not some one-off spike. This thing is planted.

For fans planning the trip, the sales pitch is already live. Single-day passes, four-day GA, VIP, and the Daytona Owners Club options are on sale now. Hotel packages are available through Jampack, and a limited number of car-and-tent camping add-ons are still up for grabs, while RV camping is already sold out.

The bottom line is simple. Welcome To Rockville 2026 looks built for scale, noise, and fan service. If the headliners pull the casual crowd and the deep undercard locks in the diehards, this could end up being one of the biggest rock weekends Florida sees all year. Fans are going to be arguing over schedule conflicts for months, and that is usually the sign of a damn good festival.

Get ready to dust off those baggy jeans and relive the musical era that defined a generation. This isn’t just another reunion tour; it’s a full-blown nu-metal and post-grunge convention. Live Nation has officially announced the Staind “Break The Cycle” 25th Anniversary Tour*, and they’re bringing a star-studded lineup of legendary hitters with them. We’re talking about a 30-date North American trek featuring *Staind, Seether, Hoobastank, and Hinder—the ultimate time capsule for anyone who grew up on early 2000s rock.

The tour is set to kick off in early September 2026 and will storm through major cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, and Phoenix before a massive Texas finale. For fans of 4GQTV, this is the tour we’ve been waiting for. It’s not just about the hits; it’s about a reconnection with the raw, emotional energy that birthed the modern alt-rock scene. Whether you’re a long-time “Staind-head” or a new fan who discovered these anthems on TikTok, this fall is going to be electric.

The scale of this tour is truly massive, with Live Nation producing a high-energy stage experience designed to match the intensity of the music. Fans can expect career-spanning sets from all four bands, making this more of a mini-festival than a standard concert. With Hoobastank also making their Vans Warped Tour debut earlier that summer, 2026 is officially the year of the alt-rock resurgence. Grab your tickets early—this is the kind of lineup that sells out faster than a rare comic drop!

The Legacy of “Break The Cycle”

To understand why this tour is such a massive deal, you have to look back at 2001. When Staind released Break The Cycle, it wasn’t just another rock album—it was a cultural phenomenon that shifted the entire landscape of mainstream music. The album famously knocked the world’s biggest pop acts off the charts, proving that raw, vulnerable rock could dominate the radio. It eventually went 5x Platinum, cementing its place as one of the most influential releases of the post-grunge era.

The heart of the album remains the timeless hit “It’s Been Awhile.” It’s a song that almost everyone knows by heart, a landmark of the genre that perfectly captured the introspection and grit of the early 2000s. You can watch the iconic original music video here to get in the mood for the tour:

But the hits didn’t stop there. Tracks like “Outside,” “Fade,” and “For You” provided the soundtrack for millions of fans navigating the reality of growing up. Aaron Lewis and the band didn’t just play music; they composed a narrative that felt real and relatable. This 25th-anniversary celebration is about honoring that legacy and the fans who have kept these songs alive for over two decades. It’s a chance to see these landmarks performed live by the legends who created them.

Hoobastank’s Viral Resurgence

Adding to the excitement is the inclusion of Hoobastank, who are currently enjoying a massive resurgence in the mainstream. Thanks to the viral #NotAPerfectPerson trend on TikTok and high-profile features in hit shows like Netflix’s Beef* and Amazon’s *The Boys, a whole new generation of music fans has discovered the band’s catalog. Clocking in at over 12 million monthly listeners, Hoobastank is more relevant than ever.

The band is set to bring their pop-metal charm and anthemic energy to the tour, serving as a perfect bridge between the heavy grit of Staind and the high-energy festival vibes. And yes, you can definitely expect a massive singalong when they drop their legendary anthem, “The Reason.” If you haven’t seen it in a while (or just want to hear that hook again), check out the video here:

Doug Robb and the guys have been vocal about their excitement to hit the road with their long-time friends. “We’ve had the pleasure of sharing the stage with all of them before and can’t wait to do it again,” Robb shared in a recent press release. That sense of community and “family reunion” vibe is exactly what makes this tour special. It’s a celebration of a specific time in music history where these bands ruled the airwaves together.

Marking the Calendar: Warped Tour and Beyond

Before the “Break The Cycle” tour kicks off in the fall, Hoobastank will be making history with their first-ever appearances at the Vans Warped Tour. Fans can catch them in Washington, D.C. on June 13-14, Long Beach on July 25-26, and right here in Orlando on November 14-15. It’s a legendary debut for an iconic band, and it sets the perfect stage for the larger arena tour later in the year.

The fall tour routing is extensive, ensuring that fans across North America get a chance to join the party. Key dates include a stop at the FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, TN on September 29th and the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston on October 17th. This isn’t just a nostalgia trip for cash; it’s a celebration of a sound that defined a generation. If you missed these bands during their initial rise, this second chance is a mandatory event for any self-respecting rock fan.

The Staind & Friends Break The Cycle Tour is shaping up to be the rock event of 2026. Between the historic legacy of the album, the viral power of Hoobastank, and the stacked supporting lineup of Seether and Hinder, it’s a powerhouse experience from start to finish. We’ll be keeping a close eye on more guest announcements and tour updates as they break. For now, clear your schedule, grab your earplugs, and get ready to scream along to the songs that shaped us.

Stay tuned to 4GQTV for more updates on the “Break The Cycle” tour and all things rock and pop culture.

Born as a one-episode gag in the 1980s G.I. Joe cartoon, Cold Slither has reemerged as a real heavy metal band with a full album, live debut at San Diego Comic-Con, and even their own comic book. From Cobra Commander’s scheme to center-stage reality, discover how these cartoon villains became rock legends.

From Animation to Amplifiers

Back in 1985, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero aired one of its strangest and most unforgettable episodes: Cobra Commander forming a rock band called Cold Slither to hypnotize America’s youth. The band, fronted by Zartan and backed by the motorcycle-loving Dreadnoks, was over the top even by cartoon standards. Yet for fans, the episode quickly became a cult favorite—part satire of the “satanic panic” era of rock, part tongue-in-cheek Cobra scheme.

Fast forward to 2025, and that animated joke has been transformed into something no one could have predicted: a real, fully functioning heavy metal band.

The Musicians Behind the Masks

Rather than treating Cold Slither as a cosplay act, the project pulled together seasoned metal veterans to embody the Dreadnok crew on stage. Zartan’s role was brought to life by a frontman known for his guttural vocals and bass-driven swagger, while the three Dreadnoks were represented by musicians from bands across the extreme metal spectrum. Together, they gave Cold Slither a sound that blends thrash aggression, punk grit, and theatrical flair.

Fans who grew up watching G.I. Joe now had the chance to see their childhood villains ripping guitar solos and pounding double-bass drums live. The result felt less like a parody and more like the animated band had finally broken through into the real world.

The San Diego Comic-Con Takeover

The group’s live debut exploded onto the stage during San Diego Comic-Con 2025, at the packed Brick by Brick venue. Cobra Commander himself made an appearance to introduce the band, whipping the crowd into a frenzy before Zartan and the Dreadnoks stormed the stage.

For fans in attendance, it wasn’t just a concert—it was an immersive crossover of pop culture and music. People showed up in Cobra gear, shouted along to the new songs, and head-banged as if they were part of a Cobra recruitment rally. The atmosphere was pure chaos, equal parts metal show and comic convention fever dream.

The Album: Nostalgia Meets Modern Metal

The very next day, Cold Slither dropped their debut album. It wasn’t just a one-off single—it was a full record packed with eleven tracks that expanded the band’s lore. Alongside a re-recorded version of their classic theme song, the album included all-new tracks like “Knock ’Em Dread” and “Thunder Machine,” which cemented Cold Slither as more than just a novelty.

For longtime G.I. Joe fans, the record played like a love letter to the franchise. For metal fans, it stood tall as a legitimate album with sharp riffs, tight drumming, and a wicked sense of humor.

Merch, Collectibles, and Cobra Swag

No band launch would be complete without merch—and Cold Slither went big. Limited-edition vinyl pressings sold out quickly, with special colored variants themed after the characters. Posters, enamel pins, and tour shirts became instant collector’s items. Perhaps the biggest prize was a special G.I. Joe action figure set featuring the band in full rock attire, complete with instruments and stage gear.

It was a masterstroke of marketing: a seamless fusion of toy culture, music fandom, and comic convention exclusivity.

Beyond Music: A Comic Book Encore

Cold Slither’s revival isn’t stopping with live shows and records. Later this year, the band will headline their very own comic book one-shot, diving deeper into their fictional backstory and satirical rise to power. It’s proof that the idea has transcended novelty—Cold Slither is being treated as a legitimate part of the G.I. Joe universe, both in lore and in real-world fandom.

Image Comics / Cold Slither

Why It Works

On paper, the idea of turning a one-episode cartoon band into a real touring act sounds like pure gimmickry. But Cold Slither’s success shows why it resonates: it hits the sweet spot between nostalgia and reinvention. For Gen X and Millennial fans, it’s a surreal blast from the past. For younger audiences, it’s a killer new band with a comic book twist. And for the broader pop-culture world, it’s another reminder that the boundaries between fiction and reality are thinner than ever.

Final Thoughts

What started as Cobra Commander’s harebrained scheme has turned into a living, breathing heavy metal act with albums, concerts, and comics. Cold Slither’s rise proves that even the most bizarre corners of pop culture can be reimagined in ways that capture both old-school fans and new listeners.

They may have started as villains in a Saturday morning cartoon, but in 2025, Cold Slither are louder, meaner, and more real than ever.
