High on Life is a first-person shooter action-adventure game by Squanch Games. Which gets straight to the point. You are thrown right into the action following the character creation scene. From the moment you pick up your first gun, Kenny the action is on.
High on Life has an immersive and funny story. You are a human whose planet has been invaded by the G3 Cartel and you are the only hope. During your adventures, you will meet unique characters and weapons with personalities. The story is well-written and kept me engaged throughout, and I found myself wanting to meet all the interesting aliens that come across your path.

The gameplay in High on Life is satisfying. You can acquire warp discs that take you to strange locations, upgrades for your health and weapons, and yes a drum to help a local citizen to become famous. High on Life is not significantly challenging but if you find yourself having a hard time you can play it in story mode which makes the combat much easier.
One thing that I really appreciated about High on Life is the attention to detail. Squanch Games put a lot of effort into creating a believable and humorous alien world, and it really shows. I could not put the game down between the stunning environments, adult cartoon humor, and wanting to defeat the cartel.

I did not experience any technical issues or bugs in my playthrough even though I have read reports of some.
I am extremely impressed by what Squanch Games accomplished with High on Life. It’s a well-crafted and enjoyable experience that is sure to keep you coming back for more. The beautiful graphics, smooth controls, engaging story, and satisfying gameplay all come together to create a truly memorable gaming experience. If you’re a fan of Rick and Morty, I highly recommend giving High on Life a try.
In conclusion, High on Life is a fantastic game that is sure to delight fans of adult cartoons. If you have Xbox Game Pass this is a game that should not be looked over if you liked what you have read. High on Life breaks boundaries with humor and even features 4 full-length films along with animated shorts.
